Profound Gratitude, the sequel

How many of you are fans of SageWoman Magazine? How many of you are aware of how deeply wonderful they are? Despite their current financial difficulties, they will be donating magazines to the Festival for our attendees and participants? There aren’t even words to express how much we love them, so please help us send them love, support and abundance during this difficult time! You can donate to their recovery fund, or subscribe to their magazine. Visit their Facebook page and let them know how awesome they are, and how much we Canadians adore them!

Counting Down

There are 14 more days until the Festival begins! We are so excited, and hope you are too! Preparations have reached a fever pitch at the Goddess Festival HQ, while we put the finishing touches on all the magic!

And with that in mind, we have a couple of housekeeping notes, while they are fresh in our minds.

We ask that all participants respect the spiritual nature of this festival, and refrain from alcohol and all non-prescription drugs for the duration of your stay with us. You are welcome to dress as you like for exploration and play, and bring costumes and most importantly your Isis colors: Carnelian Red, Gold, Lapis Blue, White and Black.

And as always, if you have any questions or comments, please send us an email or leave a comment and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Logo

MGF LogoSo far, 2011 has marked some big changes for the Festival. To begin with, we are now officially incorporated, we have a mission statement, and now a logo!

We are gearing up to the second edition of the Festival, happening this September just outside of Matlock, Manitoba with an array of fundraisers and activities, including various ceremonies.

We will be attempting to streamline our ticket sales – as well as shrink our carbon footprint on sweet Mother Earth! – by using an online service. Details of this to follow very shortly!

And finally, stay tuned to our Facebook page (and here too!) for details on how you can get involved with the Festival as a volunteer. This Festival would not exist were it not for the amazing generosity of spirit of so many. We are always extremely grateful to received gifts of time, energy, goods, or financial support. You can find more information under the “Support” tab above.

The Goddess IsisAllow us to take a moment and express our deepest, sincerest, and humblest gratitude and affection for the amazing Lisa Iris. She is an incredibly talented artist, and an incredibly generous spirit, allowing the Festival to use her gorgeous image of Isis.
