Tayannah Lee

Tayannah Lee (“Ty”) is an award-winning Cultural Anthropology teacher, Bellydance instructor and author of several books and articles on popular culture, metaphysics and dance including the highly acclaimed Rootwork: The Folk Magick of Black America published by Simon & Shuster. For over 15 years, Ty intensively studied comparative religion, world mythology, African and Asian philosophy, Hoodoo, Astrology, Meditation and Tarot. She has taught many successful seminars and workshops about these and other related subjects. Ty is a Priestess of Oya, the Yoruba warrior goddess of transformation, fertility, fire, witches and magic.
